The view across the carpark looks at The Kensington Tavern which is at the end of Talbot Street. The tavern is one of Derby's smaller pubs.

This area is where the former bus depot for Trent Barton Buses was, until its demolition. I am surprised it is still derelict land as everywhere else around here has had blocks of flats built.

A repurposed factory on Drewry Lane
The large building on the centre right with its end in shadow is an old factory that was converted into flats a few years ago. The Factory was James Smith and Co. who manufactured clothing.

The new Lidl takes shape
The store is being built on the land formerly occupied by the Trent Barton Bus garage. Once planning permission was given the ground has been quickly prepared and the steel frame work has been put up rapidly.
