Ordnance Survey Cut Mark
A cut mark on a boot scraper. This mark is located just to the right of the entrance to the Wardwick Public House. These marks were used by Ordnance Survey for mapping purposes.

7-15 Wardwick, Derby
Nos. 7-9 has a grand ashlar facade, Victorian Classical, and was, I think, the County Club.
Next door is a Georgian pub, the Wardwick Tavern, dated c1740. Grade II* listed.
