The end of Sim Street
Another cul-de-sac, this time with a turning circle for the cars. Necessary because the street used to back onto a railway line - The Great Northern Line.

New houses and flats on a fairly new street. I think it is on the site of the defunct Derby Prison.

An improvement on the old prison and terraced houses that used to be here. Whether they will last as long as the demolished buildings remains to be seen.

Granville Street
A short cul-de-sac that is a private road that is not "made up". Presumably the residents are responsible for keeping the road surfaced. All the houses have the same Green painted doors and cream window paint. Does this mean they are all owned by the same person or business?

The end of Granville Street
You can clearly see this is a "dead end street". Behind the wall there used to be a railway track and small marshalling yard. The railway has long since been removed.

At the end of Granville Street is an iron fence, behind which is this security fence protecting the land waiting to be developed.

Uttoxeter Old Road
Uttoxeter Old Road is still a busy road but is no longer the "main road" it used to be as there has been created Uttoxeter New Road which meets this road at the Rowditch.
