Mansfield Bros, Albert Village
Ruinous brickworks. Amazingly enough an old boy was still doing something with some kit on one part of the site. The Vernon & Guest steam engine was saved locally and in 2006 was advertised for sale in Old Glory magazine. I'm a naughty boy - my camera bag and tripod are visible left of centre just above the rickety fence.

You can just see the sign for Church Street on the school building which forms the main interest of the image. It is a very old school building but seems to be still in use.
