Former Bretby Brick & Stoneware Co Ltd
There are a few variously distressed bottle kilns in this corner of Derbyshire. Although I've visited this place several times I've never photographed the exterior. It is normal for a kiln to be in a building but several examples have become free-standing.

Former Bretby Brick & Stoneware Co Ltd, Newhall
This site is a long established business that at one time specialised in doggy bowls. It is home to two long disused stationary steam engines and is in a deteriorating state. There is a flooded clay pit behind and I'm stood on a pile of clay waste.
