Burnside Lodge
It was in this cottage that the Antarctic explorers Captain Robert Falcon Scott (1868-1912) and his chief scientist, Dr Edward Wilson (1872-1912), met on a number of occasions for planning their expedition to the South Pole in 1911-12.
