Tree-lined driveway to Inverquharity Castle

This seems to be the best view of Inverquharity Castle that can be obtained from a public road. A 15th century tower house built by the Ogilvy family, with walls over 2 metres thick. A wing was added in the 16th century to make an L-plan castle. The wing was demolished in the 18th century, but rebuilt in the 1960s when the whole castle was restored. A Category A listed building. Currently up for sale - although the rooms are large, it only offers four bedrooms. Price not mentioned!
