East Cotton of Gardyne / Mains of Gardyne Road, near Crow Hill
At this particular part of the road, in days gone by, the water from the Denton burn flowed across the road (ie a Ford). The Denton Burn now enters the water passage at the far end of the wooden fence and flows under the road at an angle of about 90 degrees egressing at the part of the road where the fence on top of the wall ends.
