Steps from Lyninghills to West High Street
When I was a child we used to sledge down this slope. There were no steps then, and there was a wall at the bottom with just one narrow gap. If you missed the gap, you hit the wall. It was a good way of teaching us to steer our sledges accurately. The premises of Strathmore Mineral Waters Limited are in the background.
