Angus Gateway retail park
Formerly part of North Grange farm (see OS map) Dobbies Garden Centre forms the centrepiece of a retail estate situated to the north of Monifieth on the A92. There is an adjacent leisure centre, the ubiquitous McDonald's, an outdoor clothing and giftware shop and a motel.

Up-grading of the A92
The up-grading of the A92 to dual carriageway between Dundee and Arbroath is scheduled for completion in May 2006. The view shows the construction of a new junction at 484330. In the middle distance is housing at the northern edge of Broughty Ferry and the Dundee boundary sign.
