Farming down to the sea
Taken near Ardestie toll towards the lighthouses at Barry. Ardestie was part of the tract of farming land situated to the north of the mouth of the Tay known locally as "The Golden Mile" stretching from Monifieth towards Arbroath.

Cycle path, Mains of Ardestie.
As part of the upgrading of the A92 a cycle path was built along side it between Dundee and Arbroath. At Mains of Ardestie the junction with the B962 now avoids the houses and the cycle path has a branch that connects to the town of Monifieth.
