The Kittiwake near Broughty Ferry

Barnhill Rock Garden
Developed since 1955 on the site of an old golf course, this is an amazing public garden. Totally insecure, no fences, but in wonderful condition and with a fine collection of plants.

Bridge abutment at Barnhill
The remains of the bridge carrying the former Caledonian Railway Dundee and Forfar branch over the Dundee & Arbroath Joint line from which it has just diverged. The branch was closed completely and dismantled after 1967.

Old railway bridge at Barnhill
A view out to the Firth of Tay through the bridge which formerly carried the branch line from Dundee to Forfar, and is now used for a high-level walkway leading to the Barnhill Rock Garden.
