Black Watch sculpture
Originally unveiled by HM the Queen Mother in 1959, but later moved to its new position in the 1980s. Re-dedicated by HRH Prince Charles in 2009. The sculptor was Scott Sutherland and was cast by H H Martyn and Company's foundry in Cheltenham.

Black Watch War Memorial, Powrie, Dundee
Dating from 1959, the memorial is situated near a lay-by just to the east of the A90. A plaque on the memorial reads: To the memory of all ranks of the 4th and 5th Dundee & Angus Battalions of the Black Watch who died in the Second World War. Black Watch Memorial
This is a memorial for all the men and women of the Black Watch, which is now a part of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, who have died in service of their country. It stands next to the A90 Dual Carriageway on the outskirts of Dundee. The memorial sits on the hillside overlooking Dundee which is one of the major recruitment areas for the Black Watch.
