Decapitated pylon
A floodight pylon at Tannadice Park (Dundee United FC) has been replaced by modern stand roof lights, but is still required as a mobile 'phone mast.

Neighbours
Tannadice Street and the famously close neighbours Dundee FC and Dundee United FC. Almost as close as you can get without ground sharing. Historically United have looked up to their neighbours, but Tannadice Park has hosted a European Cup (now called "Champions League") semi final. Now in the era of petro-clubs dominating everything, this street is a reminder of when almost any city in Europe could be represented at the pinnacle of the game.
I think the "no ball games" sign has gone from the wee park between the grounds.
