Dundee-Newtyle railway at Baldragon
Strong support for the embankment retaining walls for the Dundee-Newtyle railway. It was finally abandoned in 1961 after opening in 1831.

Dighty Water
A stream flowing through Bridgefoot village. The Dighty provided power for grain mills from the 16th century. In the 17th century mills were used for the waulking of woollen cloth. There may have been more than fifty mills on the river during the 18th century.
