Dundee East railway station (site)
Opened in 1857 by the Dundee & Arbroath Railway, this terminus station closed to passengers in 1959. View south west towards the former buffer stops. On the far left, a pair of tracks run through to Dundee (Tay Bridge) station.

End of the line
Within the overgrowth can be seen railway lines serving the former Dundee East Railway Station. The site is now largely occupied by a garage showroom.

City Quay
Between the rows of modern retail units, the old railway track and cobbles have been retained. I'm saying retail, but there is little evidence of the usual sort of chain store in this development, and lots of the units are occupied by health, fitness and beauty services of various kinds rather than shops.
