In fact the houses here are the rear of the east side of Chandler's Lane, seen from South Victoria Dock Road. Above the roofs are the modern flats in West Victoria Dock Road.

Chandlers Lane
Restored shipwrights buildings and a cobbled street bring an air of a bygone age to housing on Dundee waterfront. The chimney was used in connection with making and repairing ships mooring chains and anchors.
