High Rise Cowgate
The subway under the A991 at Marketgait keeps Cowgate open at least for pedestrians. No doubt some of them are housed under the blue roofs on the "multi" in the background.

Former Jute Mill at Wishart Arch
The Jute Mill was latterly run by Barron of Belfast. It has been converted to residential properties. According to a 1910 Belfast Directory, Barron & Co of Belfast Ltd were cotton and jute bag manufacturers. They operated from the Boyne Works, 2 Rydelmere Street, Belfast. The Wishart Arch is the last remaining old city gate in Dundee.
