Former insurance company office
This fine building was once the Dundee branch office of The Caledonian Insurance Company. The Caledonian Insurance Company was established in Edinburgh in 1805. In 1957 it became a subsidiary of Guardian Assurance Company.

Turning out of Panmure Street, Dundee
Former Dundee Corporation Daimler bus 277 in the operator's rather uninspired green livery. By this time the area had become Tayside Regional Council and the buses were receiving a much brighter blue livery http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6879720 . In the background the car park end of the Wellgate Shopping Centre is under construction.
