Inverkeilor Primary School
A classic example of a Victorian school built in traditional style of red sandstone. Pity about the plethora of poles, wires and street furniture.

Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea)
A pair of Foxgloves growing on the railway bridge, benefiting from the shelter and the warmth of the red sandstone parapet to flower well before their fellows in more exposed spots nearby. There is a bumble bee about to enter one of the flowers on the left.

12 Station Road
My eye was first caught by the splendid blue ceanothus bush, and then by the elaborate twin Dutch gables and central windows. The house is on the second edition of the six-inch Ordnance Survey map, but not the first edition, so it must be late Victorian.
