Rail Shunting Yard at Arbroath
Some time ago, stream engined trains used to shunt coal wagons around in this yard. They were stored in the shed shown. Arbroath Station is quieter now.

Arbroath railway station
Looking northbound while awaiting a train back to Dundee. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the extremely polite and helpful staff at this station, always welcome especially if you have a bike with you.
A single ticket to Dundee cost £4.10 in September 2009. No charge for the bike.
