Curious Building
My eye was caught by this funny little building tucked alongside a house in Hill Street. The shape of the upper window, and the cross to the right, hint at an ecclesiastical purpose, but the building is barely bigger than a one-car garage.

How to Beautify the Town
Lay nice tidy paving, with raised beds, planted with brightly coloured flowers. Plant a few trees, but don't worry if they look sickly, gaunt and misshapen. Last but not least, park a row of garish rubbish bins in full view. Job done.
