Part of the Thames Walk in the Upper Mall. To the left is the fashion store Superdry and to the right is Case and Sony. Above the stores on the left is the inscription "Old Father Thames Keeps Rolling Along, Down to the Mighty Sea".

Beach Huts at Bluewater
On right of the entrance to the Bluewater Wintergarden is a row of kiosks dressed up as beach huts. Standing on the decking overlooking the model boating ponds they brighten up a summer's day.

Bluewater Shopping Centre from the old quarry edge
Bluewater is an out of town shopping centre near Stone in Kent, just outside the M25 Orbital motorway. It has been built in a former chalk quarry once operated by Blue Circle Industries and opened in 1999

View over Bluewater
This view of Bluewater is taken from Watling Street, the old Roman road passing to the south. It gives a good impression of how the shopping centre sits in the old chalk quarry so that it cannot be seen from any distance. The road nearest the camera is for buses only. In complete contrast, if you cross over to the other side of Watling Street this is the view that greets you http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2829353
