Steps on sea wall
Footpath from Marsh Street passes through scrubland in between Littlebrook Power Station and Sewage Works, then it arrives at the sea wall. There is a footpath here around the River Thames coast leading around back into Dartford via the Darenth Valley footpath.

Thames beach by Long Reach Sewage Treatment Works
At low tide along the Thames here is a stony beach and lower down the shore a mud bank. On the left is the wall around Long Reach Sewage Treatment Works whilst Purfleet is across the other side of the Thames to the right.

Littlebrook D Power Station (decommissioned)
Between 1939-2015 there were four oil- and coal-fired power stations at Littlebrook: A (1939-73), B (1949-75), C (1952-81) and D (1981-2015). A, B and C were converted from coal to oil but D was oil-fired throughout its existence. The QEII (Dartford Crossing) Bridge stands in the background.
