Flower border at the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend
The Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara was opened in November 2010 and cost £15 million to build. It is the biggest Gurdwara in Europe hosting facilities for Sikhs. This wall alongside the main entrance road has been planted with colourful flowers. The railway line is in a cutting on the other side of the wall.

Gravesend Sikh Temple
An unexpected sight in the back streets of Gravesend is this impressive Sikh temple, one of the largest anywhere in the world outside India, only completed in 2010. It has five domes and can accommodate 1,200 worshippers.
