Boot Inn, Boothsdale Nr Kelsall
This excellent pub consists of a row of former cottages constructed in the local sandstone. The area is known as little Switzerland because of its hills and steep, wooded valleys in contrast to the majority of the Cheshire plain

The Boot Inn, Boothsdale
This tiny inn, hidden away up a narrow lane in Boothsdale was once a row of cottages. It is an ideal spot to start a walk of the picturesque area known as "Little Switzerland".

Magritte's bus shelter at Willington Corner
Maybe Magritte never came here, but he would appreciate the notices on this building. On the sides are signs for a bus stop. On the front is a notice that records that there is no bus service. So Magritte would write "This is not a bus shelter". One wonders why the person who put up the notice on the front did not also remove the "bus stop" signs.
