Wrenbury Frith Bridge, from the west
Wrenbury Frith Bridge is around 0.5km west of Wrenbury Bridge on the Shropshire Union Canal. A grade II*-listed structure, it is one of three rare timber lift bridges by Thomas Telford on this stretch of the Shropshire Union Canal around Wrenbury

The bridge is reflected in the water in the evening sunshine. Bridges of this design occur along the length of the Llangollen Canal although there is a concentration of them at Wrenbury. This one is normally open to boaters.
