That's not a bungalow
An interesting house, at first sight a Bungalow, but one with a bow window on a lower level, the house is obviously following the shape of the land.

Historic Black-and-white
This is the 17th century house known as Oakhurst, built in the traditional way with timber frame and infil, and painted in the definitive Cheshire Black-and-white style.

Church Minshull from the Middlewich Branch
The ten mile long Middlewich Branch is well worth navigating, (or walking). It runs mostly at a high level giving very good views over the surrounding countryside, as here where it crosses the River Weaver by an aqueduct. The Weaver itself is navigable, but not up here. The square tower of Church Minshull church can be picked out.
