Roundabout at Churche's Mansion, Nantwich ? 1963
Then still subject to heavy through traffic; Millstone Lane was the recognised through route for A51 traffic avoiding the town centre. An unflattering view of the Grade I Listed Churche's Mansion, it was taken as part of a student study visit to the town when the impact of traffic on the environment would have been an element.

Nantwich Veterinary Hospital, Crewe Road
The windows of this red brick and glass building, opened in 1998, reflect the Victorian terrace houses opposite. The metal sculpture portrays the building's use as a veterinary hospital. Located on the mini-roundabout at the end of Crewe Road, this building forms a dramatic contrast to the Elizabethan timbered Churche's Mansion opposite. See also Image

Grade I listed Churche's Mansion, Nantwich
The large timber framed black and white Hospital Street building dates from 1577, one of the few buildings not destroyed by the Great Fire of 1583. Grade I listed in 1948.
