Nantwich Museum in a former library
The inscription on the gables is FREE LIBRARY A.D. 1888. The museum's website states that the fascinating history of one of Cheshire's most attractive and historic towns is brought to life by Nantwich Museum, founded in January 1980. Located in Pillory Street, the museum has main galleries telling the story of Nantwich through the ages – Roman salt making, Tudor Nantwich's Great Fire, the Civil War Battle of Nantwich (1644) and the more recent shoe and clothing industries.

Love Lane, Nantwich
Many old towns have a "Love Lane" (sometimes called by a less euphemistic name). This one is in view of the parish church, though I doubt whether that pricked the conscience of any young lovers.
