Pepper Street, Nantwich
Pepper Street is one of the major shopping streets in Nantwich, with a wide range of small shops and cafes, as well as the main post office (right), which dates from c.1928 and is by Archibald Bulloch. The Beam Street end largely contains modern red- or yellow-brick buildings in a range of styles. View on a winter weekday; it is much busier with tourists at weekends and during summer

The Malbank, 14 Beam Street
A large pub with dance floor, on Beam Street, which is also part of the A530 road. It was until very recently called The Malbank Hotel. The name change seems to have followed the going into administration of the previous owners, Cains Beer Company plc, in 2008. Image
