Cast iron railings on Chester Bridge
These decorative cast iron railings are along both sides of Chester Bridge and they look old enough to be rare survivors from the wartime metal salvage scheme. The tower of Christ Church can be seen in the background.

Bench mark on Chester Bridge
This is a clear cut bench mark, just before the parapet of Chester Bridge, and is cut into the softer red brick rather than the adjacent, much harder, blue engineering bricks. The wall has been partly demolished, and there is a notice offering the land behind for redevelopment, so the bench mark may not be there for much longer. See also Image
