Barthomley
The White Lion must be one of the most traditional pubs in Britain. You get the impression that nothing's changed there for several decades. We were there with friends who live in the village and the atmosphere is great: everyone seems to know everyone else and cars and people are constantly stopping for someone to have a chat.
