Railway Station, Crewe
The electric locomotive is Class 85020, one of forty built in the early '60s, by British Rail, Doncaster. Fourteen were converted and renumbered 85101-85114. Almost all were scrapped in the early '90s at MC Metals of Glasgow. One has been saved by the AC Locomotive Group - 85101.
The shunter is Class 08599.
Typical of most railway shots of mine. One of the busiest stations in the country and there is only one person in view and he was the driver of the train.
