New development, Crewe Business Park
An attempt to introduce interesting design features on the small office block seems dwarfed by the building itself which extends to 360,000 ft2.

Even in today's era of electric and diesel traction, it is still, obviously, one of the Meccas for the Rail-fan - including this one.

It's easy to see that technology has even caught up with Train-spotters - what with videos. digital cameras, scanners, and the like.

Railway Station, Crewe
I already had my camera set up on a tripod, so when this Class 08695 trundled up in front of me, I asked the driver if he wouldn't mind standing still while I took a photograph. The shot was taken without flash - 5secs & f4 200ASA. Until this photograph I didn't realise that the window in the door was wired glass.
The locomotive details on the cab side are - Class 08, Weight tonnes 49, Brake force tonnes 19, Route availability 5, Maximum speed 15mph
It just so happens that this locomotive has been preserved. I hope the driver has, it's 25-years-ago.
