Entrance gates of Crewe Hall
The entrance gates and wall to the Jacobean mansion of Crewe Hall separate the gardens and the park and farmland; they are listed at grade II. The gates are by Cubitt and Co and date from 1878; they were exhibited at the Paris Exhibition of that year

This red-brick building with stone trimmings, set in farmland just to the east of Crewe, is now a hotel and restaurant. The Jacobean mansion (grade I listed) dates in part from 1615-36, here seen in side view from the west. On the right is part of the former stable block (grade II* listed) dating from c.1636. Crewe Hall: east face of stables quadrangle
The main (east) face of the stables quadrangle at Crewe Hall dates from c. 1636. The centrepiece and clock tower were added by Edward Blore c. 1837. Part of the grade-II*-listed quadrangle which dates from c.1636, formerly a stable block. The stables date from c.1636; the tower was added c.1837. Now part of the hotel.
