Gateway Cottage, North Road
Despite the name, this is not a lodge at the end of the drive to North Rode Manor. Earlier maps have it named as Station Cottage and it was built for the stationmaster of North Rode Station.

Gateway Cottage Shellow Lane
Park road junction with Shellow lane. This is the Station Master's house built in the style of the North Staffordshire Railway Company. Station now demolished.
