Canal bridge parapet
The bridge carries Crewe Road over the Trent and Mersey Canal. The original parapet is quite high and built in local "Staffordshire blue" bricks. The bridge has been widened later to provide a footway.

Former Cooperative Industrial building, Wheelock
An interesting foundation stone on the side of this building Image Unfortunately it has got somewhat eroded, so although it clearly starts "Sandbach Industrial Cooperative Society" and a partial date June 23 can be made out, the rest is virtually illegible.
