Former warehouse and mill by the canal in Wheelock
According to local historian Stuart Green, this was H J Lea (Corn Merchants) in the 1880s. At least part of the building is now in use as a pet food store. Note the bricked-up doorway in the foreground.

Canal and Feed Mill at Wheelock, Cheshire
On the right is the site of a salt Works established in about 1790, alongside the recently constructed Trent and Mersey Canal. It is now occupied by the Lea Oakes organic animal feed mill. Ahead is Wharf Bridge, No 154, which carries Crewe Road.
