Line of trees on Claymore Road
These obviously predate the present housing. Old maps show they formed part of the boundary between field parcels 100 and 101. The left hand pavement follows the route of the original right of way.

Bramley Wood estate - side road
Unlike the spine road of the estate which is straight and has pavements, the side roads are 'wavy' in layout and have no pavements. I presume the intention is to slow vehicles down and treat the roads as shared-use spaces. Time will tell whether this is successful.
