Old Middlewich Road is in the foreground, now cut off (other than for cycles) where its successor joins it. The pedestrian crossing leads to a retail park (Aldi and McDonalds).

Where's the roundabout?
The sign dates from before traffic lights were installed at the junction ahead. Nobody has bothered to move it to a more appropriate position nearer the roundabout to which it refers.
