This is the Coventry Canal, looking south towards Atherstone and Nuneaton. Grendon Bridge (No 49) is about a hundred metres ahead. On the right is Grendon Dock boatyard, with under cover dry dock facilities for two narrowboats.

Coventry Canal: Grendon Dock
Unlike many leisure industry canal boatyards which have made use of existing basins that were previously used for industrial purposes this narrowboat facility is comparatively new. The covered dock has a fine clock tower on its roof.
