Former HSBC Bank, Atherstone
Atherstone is typical of towns that would once have had a number of banks but is now gradually losing them as on-line banking becomes more popular. This former HSBC bank, a grade II listed building dating from 1837, is now a branch of Specsavers.

Phillips & Marriott's Ales & Stouts
This etched glass window at the front of the Bubble Inn (formerly White Horse) on Long Street is a rare reminder of Phillips and Marriott's brewery of Coventry. The brewery was taken over and closed down in 1924 - so this pub has advertised a product which it couldn't sell for nearly a century! The window is reflecting the street and the photographer.
