Monkey puzzle tree by Kenilworth Library
I believe it's probably Araucaria araucana, the hardiest species of these South American trees and therefore the one usually planted in Britain; see Image It is shapely, too, still with plenty of lower branches, which they tend to lose with age.

Kenilworth street scene and clock tower looking northwest
The clock tower stands in The Square at the end Warwick Road by Abbey End, and was presented to Kenilworth in 1906 by G.W.Turner as a memorial to his late wife. The De Montfort hotel (name changed to the Holiday Inn in 2008) also features in this shot along with some local shoppers.
