Longford Junction
Although there is no junction here now, this was the original site of the junction between the Oxford Canal and the Coventry Canal - the two canals running in parallel for the mile or so between here and Hawkesbury. The Coventry Canal's wharf was where the wood yard is now.

J E Hackett & Sons Ltd, Longford
J E Hackett & Sons Ltd was established in 1922 and one of their two funeral homes is here on Longford Road by the Coventry Canal. Looking up from the towpath the premises have an old-world feel.
