Alderminster church
The Minster and Parish Church of Saint Mary and The Holy Cross. This lies adjacent to the A3400, formerly a much busier road, and also Shakespeare's Way. Much of the church including the tower is in the next square, but the east end and everything east of it is in this square. There has been a church on this site since the 12th century, with additions in the following two centuries, but what we see now is largely a result of restorations of 1873 and 1884.
