Alveston Manor Hotel
The Alveston Manor Hotel is situated very close to the centre of the town of Stratford-upon-Avon, just a short distance across Clopton Bridge. A timber-framed former manor house with lots of character.

This pretty Victorian gatehouse appears to be part of the grounds of an adjacent upmarket hotel. Why it has been boarded up and left to decay is anyone's guess.

Back again on the way home. https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6055610 I will add it has very good toilet facilities, one of the only petrol stations I've used with two cubicles and it was busy.
