Long Marston Airfield
This old airfield http://www.controltowers.co.uk/L/Long_Marston.htm is now a popular venue for a wide range of events and activities including parachuting and microlighting as well as car boot sales, pop festivals and the like. One long running and immensely popular event is the "Bulldog Bash" http://bulldogbash.eu/.
John Anderson has kindly provided the following information about the aircraft on display at the entrance to the airfield. It is a Hunting Percival Pembroke first flown 1952, used by the RAF mainly for communications & reconnaissance purposes, 45 were built and they went out of RAF service 1988.
