Island of grass
This strip of land is marooned between the still-used part of the old King's Lane to Snitterfield (seen on the left) and the dual carriageway of the Stratford by-pass (in a cutting over the hedge line to the right). It is slowly reverting to nature with bushes and brambles creeping over the pasture.

Layby on King's Lane, Snitterfield
According to the British History website, tradition says that Charles II rode along this road on his escape from Boscobel, hence its name. He could only have dreamed of smooth tarmac. The road runs along a ridge, but has in recent decades been paralleled by the present A46 trunk road a short distance to the south.

War Memorial, Snitterfield
To the fallen of the First (opposite side) and Second (this side) World Wars. The seat overlooks the bank above the A46 bypass, and would offer lovely views over the Avon Valley if the trees on the embankment were pruned.
