View near Long Compton
Looking north across farmland from the bridleway that has descended to the village from Long Compton Woods. It is used by both the Macmillan Way and Shakespeare's Way long distance paths. I have walked the former and am now walking the latter, so I'm repeating this bit but I don't remember this view.

Meeting of the ways in Long Compton
The main road sweeping round to the left is the A3400. Before the construction of the M40, this road carried very heavy traffic between Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon. The minor road to the right ascends Harrow Hill on its way to Whichford. The driveway to the extreme right is the Macmillan Way long distance footpath.
